Second day of VideoAktiv workshop Vrije Universiteit
Today, the second day of the two-day workshop at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam finished. Ten participants learned how and when to use audio and video in their classes. The modulair design of the workshop enabled them to choose those units they were particularly interested in. In that way, some of them learned e.g. about digitising their own material, while others were more focused on exploring and using seached online databases.
One of the teachers considers using a new technique, vodcasting, to distribute recordings of lectures to students. This enables them to retrieve the lectures through RSS.
The participants appreciated the workshop and proposed a third meeting to exchange the experiences gained after the workshop.
The next workhops in the Netherlands will be held on January 12, 2006 in Groningen.
